When Taufik meets Manchester United

Taufik Hidayat had the chance to meet the whole Manchester United team in Malaysia. The former Olympic champion few to Kuala Lumpur where the team was based for their Asian tour. They were scheduled to fly to Jakarta, but after the bombing of two Hotels – amongst which one which they were supposed to stay in – they decided to cancel their trip to Indonesia.
Mr Gumelar, Taufik’s father in law, was the promoter of the Man U tour togetrher with Taufik’s Marketing company THForce and flew together with Taufik in Malaysia to try to see if something could be done, but unfortunately for Indonesian fans, the team decided to stay in Malaysia.
It was a good opportunity however for Taufik to meet with the stars amongst which goal keep Van Der Sar and all his team mates.
